The British Association for Chinese Studies (BACS) holds an Annual Conference at a different British centre for Chinese Studies in September each year. The BACS Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in conjunction with the annual conference.
The BACS Annual Conference welcomes international and UK-based participants, including BACS members and non-members. BACS members are eligible for a discounted registration fee. Typically, the conference includes distinguished keynote speakers in plenary sessions and specialist panels. We welcome both panel and individual paper submissions.
